Custom Digital Illustrations

2019-2022
WHAT WE DID
Art Direction, Reasearch + Development and Printing
This is a collection of custom portrait illustrations I’ve created since being commissioned in 2019. With the help of some friends and their referrals, I was able to create beautiful portraits of their loved ones. Each commission is unique and emotional, with its own story told through my digital illustration abilities. Design planning and development, sketches, illustration, and printing are some of the services we offer.
Ida & John's connecting their Filipino Tradition Wedding Portrait Illustration
The Story
We all know that many couples cancelled their weddings in 2020, when the pandemic was just getting started. Some of the couples tied the knot, while others chose to wait. In our experience, Miss Ida Lizette, an adventurous, kind, and fun-loving bride, approached our studio to create a custom wedding illustration as a gift for her then-fiance on their wedding day. We are overjoyed with this project because it was once just a concept that became a reality after two long years of waiting. We are overjoyed to show the world what we created for the adorable couple. Weddings are our favourite!

Caroline and Hubby with their handsome Bogey Portrait Illustration
The Story
Caroline was the first client to take a chance and ask me if I could make an illustration of a photo of her wedding in Banff with their dog Bogey. Because Bogey was unable to attend the wedding due to airline pet policies, I couldn’t say no to such a request. Bogey, you’re a very handsome dog!
Rachel and her late grandma's attendance on her wedding day through digital portrait illustration
The Story
Caroline is a regular client and a friend who has always supported my illustration skills since the start of my studio. She asked me to work on her sister’s surprise wedding gift in 2020. Before the bride walks down the aisle, the illustration depicts Lola and Rachel (the bride) proudly and blissfully looking at each other while holding hands. Lola’s readiness for Rachel to have a wonderful life with her future husband is represented by them holding hands. The illustration was such a meaningful gift that it was shared at the wedding with the entire family. Lola (Grandmother) was in attendance to witness the bride’s special day (not physically but illustratively)

Roseann with family digital portrait illustrations 50th birthday present idea
The Story
Roseanne approached me to create an illustration of her entire family celebrating her mother’s 50th birthday, which landed on Covid 19 pandemic. Who would’ve thought being quarantined on your birthday could surprise you with an unforgettable gift you never thought you’d receive? A family that gathers to celebrate stays together!
Covid Class Portrait Illustration
The Story
Getting in touch with Teacher Andrea for Volunteer Portrait Illustration work went smoothly. Initially, our studio approached her via traditional letter, offering to create an illustration for the entire class. We offered our services in response to an unfortunate event that could occur in any school around the world. The class of 2022 will not be able to receive a class group photo due to the global pandemic. I persisted and finished a beautiful and priceless gift photo for the class to keep as a keepsake. We couldn’t have created such a lovely piece without Miss Andrea’s assistance. We are ecstatic and grateful to be a part of such an extraordinary project.

Fiance' grandparents connecting with daughter's portrait illustration gift idea
The Story
Raine is a beautiful gift idea for Luis (my fiance), who misses his grandparents and wishes they had met our daughter. Using old photos found at his parent’s house, I could incorporate them into one picture. I love how the illustration created a vivid feeling of happiness in my fiance and his mother.
Maryanne's daughter was able to connect with her father through digital portrait illustration
Mary Anne's father passed away in February 2018, so he never met his first granddaughter. She asked me to draw her late father and her baby Olivia together as if they had met before. I thought the whole image was so special.
